You might not know but even brisk walking can help us a lot to drop our weight. It maybe sounds weird, but brisk walking for 45 – 60 minutes a day has got big impact on our metabolism.
According to Sahmura Gonzalez, a master trainer at Crunch in New York City, “One hour of rapid walking a day can lead to 1 pound of fat loss a week,”.
Here is the list of few most effective ones that will help you get rid of your belly fat:
- Side Plank – more challenging than traditional planks,
- Walkout from Push-up Position – plank exercise which involves full-body movement
- Alligator Drag (Alligator Crawl) – uses entire core to keep body stabilized and burns additional calories
How to do it:
Lie on your left side on your elbow. Your elbow must be beneath your shoulder. Keep your knees straight and legs stacked. Put your right hand on left shoulder or on your right hip.
Contract your abs to lift hips off the floor until your body will be in straight line from ankles to shoulders. Hold up in this position for 40 – 60 seconds and then switch sides.
Walkout from Push-up Position
How to do it:
Start exercise from push-ups position with hands on the floor, shoulder-width apart. Make sure your body is in straight line from shoulders to your feet.
Walk your hands forward until you`ll get your body into push-up position. Perform one push-up and go backwards until you get your starting position and stand up after. You have to 10 – 12 reps.
How to do it:
Place yourself in a push-up position but keep your chest off the floor and with your feet rest on the floor. Keep your shoulders and back straight.
Now, crawl forward with your hands for about 10 – 20 meters (minimum about 10 meters). Make sure you drag your feet. After you dragged out desire distance, rest for 60 – 90 seconds (or as long time as you need to recover from exercise) and perform same drag to the place where did you start. Repeat exercise one more time.

Very important thing in losing belly is to program yourself to not use a scale every time we want measure how much weight we have lost. Everything is in our brain, if we can “switch” ourselves mentally and forget to check our progress by using scales, we are more likely to lose weight.
Keep in mind that not all exercises burning abdomen fat and sometimes you might not see any difference. To let you feel a bit confident in yourself, instead of using your scale over and over again, try to do exercises regularly and after few weeks try to put on your favorite pair of jeans. You will see how much you`ve changed during this period.
